Founder
Pierette Bartolomei-Torres, Ph.D.
Dr. Pierette Bartolomei-Torres is a teacher, neuroeducator, researcher, and peer reviewer of scientific journal articles with ten years of experience in primary, elementary, and secondary education.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2014 at the University of Puerto Rico, Ponce. She completed a Master’s in Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. in Education in 2018 from the University of Granada, Spain.
Her specialty is using the theory of multiple intelligences in teaching foreign languages, specifically English. She has also carried out different investigations on unaccompanied refugee minors and gender violence.
Tutors
Cristian J. Vázquez Collado, M.B.A (instructor | teacher | tutor)
Cristian J. Vázquez Collado is a specialist teacher in Science and Mathematics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Industrial Microbiology and Business Development from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, San Germán. He has years of experience working as a math teacher and in Sports and General Marketing.
Eliomar E. Pérez Soto, M.S. (tutor)
Eliomar E. Pérez Soto has solid experience in teaching mathematics and science at the secondary and university levels. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Technology and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Chemistry, which allows him to combine technical knowledge with pedagogical skills. She has worked in diverse educational settings, adapting teaching strategies for students with different ability levels, organizing chemistry and biology laboratories, and developing individual educational plans (IEPs).
Osmar Prospere, M.Ed. (instructor)
Osmar Prospere has more than 10 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level. He has a Master’s Degree in School Administration and Supervision and stands out for his leadership, organization and curriculum design skills aligned with educational standards. He has worked in in-person, remote and hybrid environments, using technological tools to facilitate learning. His experience includes teaching algebra, geometry, precalculus, and using methodologies to motivate students.
Sasheilly Vázquez Vega (tutor)
Sasheilly Vázquez Vega is a bilingual tutor with excellent communication skills, with a solid skills of reading, writing and speaking in both languages. She is organized, detail-oriented and has experience working with children and youth through leadership roles in community organizations. Known for her proactive approach, ability to work as a team and quick learner, Sasheilly is dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment.
Valerie Hernández Bejarano (instructor | teacher | tutor)
Valerie Hernández is a specialist learning educator with experience in the Cambridge IGCSE and IB curricula. Excels in academic support, curriculum development, and advising. He has a bachelor’s degree in English Teaching and Translation and is pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management. Valerie is also TESOL certified and trained in differentiation and inclusion strategies.
