Founder
Pierette Bartolomei-Torres, Ph.D.
Dr. Pierette Bartolomei-Torres is a teacher, neuroeducator, researcher, and peer reviewer of scientific journal articles with ten years of experience in primary, elementary, and secondary education.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2014 at the University of Puerto Rico, Ponce. She completed a Master’s in Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. in Education in 2018 from the University of Granada, Spain.
Her specialty is using the theory of multiple intelligences in teaching foreign languages, specifically English. She has also carried out different investigations on unaccompanied refugee minors and gender violence.
Tutors
Cristian J. Vázquez Collado, M.B.A (teacher | tutor)
Cristian J. Vázquez Collado is a specialist teacher in Science and Mathematics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Industrial Microbiology and Business Development from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, San Germán. He has years of experience working as a math teacher and in Sports and General Marketing.
Génesis V. Sepúlveda Borrero (tutor)
Génesis V. Sepúlveda Borrero has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and a minor in Psychology from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, San Germán. She works as a Spanish tutor and currently serves as an Administrative Officer in the UIPR Upward Bound Program.
Luc Crespo Orta (tutor)
Luc Crespo Orta is an agronomist specializing in Animal Sciences who graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. He is currently a tutor in English and Science and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Medical Mycology. Luc is always willing to help and support his students in meeting their academic needs.
Stephanie Feng Nieves (teacher | tutor)
Stephanie Feng Nieves is an educator who specializes in English and History. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English as a Second Language at a Secondary Level at the Universidad Interamericana of Puerto Rico in San Germán. She is helping an ed-tech start-up in New York that focuses on helping low-income families receive the necessary funding for their student’s educational needs. Stephanie is passionate about education because she loves being able to connect with students and their families to meet their educational needs.
Valerie Hernández Bejarano (teacher | tutor)
Valerie Hernández is a specialist learning educator with experience in the Cambridge IGCSE and IB curricula. Excels in academic support, curriculum development, and advising. He has a bachelor’s degree in English Teaching and Translation and is pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management. Valerie is also TESOL certified and trained in differentiation and inclusion strategies.
